Hello everybody,
and thanks a lot for all of you who have taken time to answer my question. I
managed to solve the problem, and here are the details:
*** At first, when configuring the email response, I used the button "..."
to fill in the Global responses -> Email -> Gateway field. When you click
"OK", it results in "<IP adress of the gateway>/32", "32" being of course
the mask indicating that the adress is a host's one. Afterwards, sadly, the
network detector tries to ask the DNS server (why?) with a gethostbyname for
"<IP adress of the gateway>/32" instead of "<IP adress of the gateway>",
which results in an error. So I modified the Email Gateway field by
suppressing the "/32" and it worked far more well...
*** As some of you told me, it was also necessary to shutdown and restart
the engines to enforce the email response modifications (why?).
