Sean,
The Event Collector uses the 'RSNTEventCollector' System DSN (i.e. an ODBC
connection) to connect to the Enterprise Database. Simply navigate to 'Data
Sources' (in Control Panel on WinNT or Administrative Tools on Win2k) and
change the default options for this connection to point to the database you
desire. Keep in mind that you must have installed the Enterprise Database on
a system before pointing an Event Collector at it. Hope that helps.

Hi guys,
had anyone tested the RealSecure 6 scenario 5 (as per the RS6 manual)
deployment?
Does anyone know how to enable communication between event_collectors and
the database? I cant seem to find the option to link the event collectors to
a remote SQL database or MSDE, only within a server.
Thanks,
Sean
