Heres a little task I'be been assigned and am hoping to achieve shortly.

We would like to automatically copy the realsecure log away, archive it and
replace the old file when it reaches approx 750MB. Easily done (ISS have a
util for it, and it works well: However) A few caveats to this.

1) Examine the file concerned say every 20 minutes plus, and start the
process when the magic number is reached.
2) The backup copy is named with the current date and time.
3) The old file is replaced with a new blank one, which entails stopping and
starting the Workgroup manager, as well as the sensors connections therein.
(There's the real snag)

ISS have supplied a utility that works very well when the Manager is shut
down and the .MDB file is unlocked. However this still requires user input
to get everything back up and running again.
Is there anythign in the pipeline that would allow this to occur. I'm
presently attempting to set this off under NT using Perf-Mon/Alerts by
altering the Pagefile details (making it think its the log instead)

Any ideas or direction on this would be appreciated.
