Sorry if this question has come up before, i just joinned de list.
Description:
I define a global response (user specified) like this.
Action name: test
Command : /usr/sbin/ping x.x.x.x
Arguments: <empty>
I merge my global response with the specific response of my sun sensor.
I apply my response to the sensor
I associate my response to a signature i can easily recreate.
I trigger my signature and i get a log on my display console. So far so
good.
I don't get my ping x.x.x.x response out of the sensor. Not from the
stealth interface (normal) and not from my management interface eather
(Not normal)
I setup my syslog to *.debug to capture any errors from the sun and i
get no errors.
I tried setting my ping command in quotes double-quotes etc... and still
nothing.
I try different commands that would create a file in /var/spool if the
signature was triggered and i still can't get the sensor to execute
anything!!
Has anybody tried setting a User Specified response before?
