First off, I'd like to thank all who replied to me with advice(Mike Anderson, Jeffrey L. Boggie, Cress Hudson, Stephen Sheridan... and anyone else I may have missed)... The problem ended up being an IO error(Idiot Operator error)... The EvenCollector Password I was using contained Special Characters( a ";" in this case ), and even though I kept on resetting and testing the password I kept using a semicolon in all the passwords I used, and the ODBC Administartor Tool would connect just fine... RealSecure on the other hand filters out the special characters from the password string it was sending to the Database and failing to connect... the fact that I could connect via ODBC Admin was what was really throwing me..
