Don,
2.
To install on a different drive you just can give the command:
SETUP.EXE DATADIR="D:\SQLDATA\"
this runs the msde setup.exe and installs it to a directory D:\SQLDATA\
If I remember correctly with the LOGDIR parameter you can define the
directory for the log-file.
3.
When you install a new console just make sure the NT Authentication works in
order to connect to the DB:
- either you use a domain account
- or you set the same user with the same login on both consoles

Hi I have here basically three queries:
1. Can some tell me what is the usage of the log file "ISSED_LOG.mdf".
Perhaps also in comparsion with ISSED_data.mdf
2. I need to install MSDE2000 on another drive. How can I achieve this using
the ISS installtion disk?
3. What is the procedure to set up a separate workgroup Mgr just to monitor
sensors events in a RealSecure 6.5 architecture? Do I have to install
MSDE2000 on this system?
THank you in advance for your help.
regards,
