ibw'zSiteProtector relies on an XML formatted
configuration file to provide it with details regarding the updates which are
available for the different agents you are running. If you are running SiteProtector
1.0 (with no service releases) then you must download http://www.iss.net/XPU.xml and
if you are running SiteProtector 1.0 (with service release 1.2) then you must download
http://www.iss.net/XPU_1_2.xml This file gets placed in the XPU folder and then when
you access the console each asset/sensor will be able to tell you what its current
update is and whether there are any updates available. The XML file also contains
information regarding the directory structure underneath the "Updates" folder.

How do I force, or configure SP to recognize a new update exists after I
manually download a XPU, and place it in the update/site_protector folder?

        Thanks.
