Jon, If you have MSSQL server Enterprise Manager available, its easy to look up and modify these permissions. Enterprise Manager is a GUI for managing SQL databases, and worth its weight in gold. Its a simple matter of setting up a new connection entry for the server you're interested in, Then you can examine any attribute of whatever databases are on that server. For the Event Collector user, go to the ISSED database, click on users, and double click on EventCollector. This will show all the permissions assigned to that user. To modify is simply a matter of clicking on the appropriate tick boxes and applying the changes. If you have to do all this by SQL, then I'm as much in the dark as you are Paul Groeneveld IS Security Officer Country Energy ##################################################################################### This message is intended for the addressee named and may contain confidential information.
