Hello,

We are actively gathering details from users who report this problem to quickly obtain 
a solution.  Please open a support ticket with ISS Technical Support (by sending an 
e-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED]) and provide the following details,

- go to http://www.iss.net/support/howto_encrypted_email.php if you want to encrypt 
your e-mail to us
- exact version number of the sensor
- the latest XPU level of the sensor
- send your iss.key file from the console machine
- send the file C:\Program Files\ISS\issSensors\network_sensor_1\crash.cap
- send an export of the application event log on the sensor machine
- send a winmsd report from the sensor machine using the following instructions,

For Windows 2000 the command is:
c:\start msinfo32 /report <filename>.txt

For Windows NT 4.0 the command is:
winmsd /a /f

Please note, the default path for msinfo32 is C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft 
Shared\MSInfo.  The winmsd report will be generated as a text file. This process 
normally takes a few minutes and the total time may be affected by other process 
running on the system.  For Windows 2000 the file will be generated with the name 
specified as <filename>.  For Windows NT, the file will be generated in the format 
<hostname>.txt.

 If you are using any ISS RealSecure products that utilize the ISSED
 database  and have not applied  the critical database update, please    
 obtain this patch from the ISS Knowledgebase at:

                          ****IMPORTANT****
        RealSecure products using the ISSED database will not
        function properly after 7-17-2002 without this patch.
