Problems updating XPU's stem from a lot of different reasons.

First, if you download the XPU's from iss.net then you must ensure that the
filename is enclosed with double quotes otherwise the file will be
associated with Winzip.
NOTE: Ensure that you add a .xpu extension.

Second, if the maintenance date has expired then you will not see the
current XPU in the list of previously installed XPU's.

Third, if you don't have the previous version (i.e., XPU 19.x) then
obviously the application will not recognize the most lastest.

Hope this helps.

Subject: [ISSForum] can't update XPU

Hi,

I'm trying to update the network sensors (7.0.2002.155) with X-Press Update
20.5 .

I selected the Network Sensor that I want to update and right clicked the
mouse (following the instructions)

Selected -X Press Update option, then the RealSecure X-Press Update

I put the update locally on the desktop and selected the location to search
the update

and then I got an error "no xpu packages where found at the specified
location"

I tried to change locations (still on the local drive) and I got the same
error.

Please help me

Ronit
