This is almost always a key issue. Check the maintanence date on you key in the console by going to View-> Display License Key. Make sure the maintenence date is sometime in the future. If it's in the past, you'll only be able to install XPU's that came out before the date. Also, make sure the path to key is the same for the workgroup manager and your event collector, you can check the event collector's path by going to managed assets, right-clicking on the event collector and viewing the path to the iss.key file there. If that's not the case, what OS is the sensor on?

Asunto: [ISSForum] can't update XPUHi,
I'm trying to update the network sensors (7.0.2002.155) with X-Press Update 20.5 .
I selected the Network Sensor that I want to update and right clicked the mouse (following the instructions)
Selected -X Press Update option, then the RealSecure X-Press Update
I put the update locally on the desktop and selected the location to search the update
and then I got an error "no xpu packages where found at the specified location"
I tried to change locations (still on the local drive) and I got the same error.
Please help me
Ronit

Do the
paths have to match, or is it ok if they are different as long as the key file
is the same? Our console key path is
C:\Program Files\ISS\RealSecure 6.5 Console\iss.key
and
the Event Collector path to the same key file is
C:\Program Files\ISS\RealSecure 6.5 Event
Collector\UserDefined\iss.key
Things
seems to work ok, but could this ever cause a problem?
Thanks,
Sandy
