The Policy Dumper only works with Real Secure policies, not Internet Scanner policies.
This is what I like to do, and it works nicely for me. I use the Properties menu option under Policy, select all and paste it into notepad. Then I import that into Access as a table. Since this only gives you the ClassId, VulnName, and Category, I run a simple querery that matches the vulnName against the Vuln Table from the scan6db.mdb file, creating a new table with all the info. This gives a nice listing off all the checks. If you want help with it, send me an email directly and I'll be glad to be more specific. I have tried to print it from the policy editor , but end up with a 300+ page document that's almost impossible to read. I need something or somehow to print it in a more presentable format , I don't need a total break down , Even just printing the events that are being monitored would probably be enough. All suggestions welcome. John :-) JOHN DUKE * Audit and Security EMP Security Office Ericsson Mobile Platforms AB [LD/EMP] ?
