I'm using Networksensor 7.0, Eventcollector and MSDE, Workgroup Manager 6.6 on seperate machines.
The machine with Workgroup Manager has ODBC-connections defined to access the asset database. The ODBC connection is configured to use SQL authentication. In the SQL server DNS configuration dialog the SQL user name is provided and his password field is left black. If I want to manage the assets Realsecure Workgroup Manager needs to connect to the asset DB and should ask me for the SQL users password. But it seems that there is NT-authentication performed first because I get an error message witch says that authentication failed. If I click OK then the SQL-authentication dialog pops up and asks me for the SQL users passowrd. Here is my question: How can I enforce SQL authentication and get rid of this error message.?
