Hello Donna

This is an unusual problem - have you reported this to ISS Technical Support?

The .sgn is the signature for the file - check that in the Agent signatures/rules
folder that you have .sgn for MS00-62.

The console will rename the check as usr_MS00-62 and when you save to the agent will
sign it. You could do that and then use the Policy editor to add usr_MS00-62 to
Initial-1.

OR

You should be able to copy the MS00-62.sgn file from an agent where it is OK to the
agent with the corrupted .sgn file putting the .sgn file into the signatures folder.

Let me know how you get on with this.

Subject: [ISSForum] corrupt check on System Scanner

Hello,

I am trying to run the Initial 1 scan from System Scanner on a web server
and the report comes back and says that it has failed. I've looked at the
error.log on the web server and it tells me that the file on C:\Program
Files\ISS\System Scanner Agent\Rules\MS00-062.sgn is corrupt. If I try to
import it from somewhere else, it names it with usr prefix.

Any suggestions? I've looked at their knowledge base, and it doesn't have
anything like this.

Donna
