Some other issues I ran into with RSDP and SP which prevented successfull connections:
1. The ip/hostname of the SP (see blackice.ini in the agentinstall) has changed. In that case you have to check blackice.ini AND icecapset.ini and make the changes there accordingly (if no connection has been established at least once icecapset.ini does not hold the ip/name yet). 2. The policy prevents connections to SP. Double check the firewall rules. 3. For ip changes of the SP use a FQDN on SP. Here's what I received from ISS support: What you can do is modify the ini files used in the agent build files to point to a domain name instead of an IP address. You'll have to have your users install this new version but in the future if you plan to move your server again it will be a less painful process if you can just update a DNS record. Look for the \Program Files\ISS\RealSecure SiteProtector\Desktop Controller\rsspdc.ini file, for dcName you will see it as an IP addess either give it the DSN name; you will need to restart the Desktop Controller. Do your agent builds and the agents will be configured to go to the DNS name of your Desktop Controller. The following example is what your file would look like: dcInternalAccount=DesktopController-Internal dcName=<Fully Qualified Domain Name here> dcId=6 HTH, Sandro > -----Ursprngliche Nachricht----- > Von: Jovan Gonzalez [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Gesendet: Samstag, 28.
