there, done that! 1] Db
chaining is disabled by Sql server SP3. Enable it by opening the enterprise manager and right
clicking the RealSecureDB then select the options tab and enable db
chaining. The OK button has a bug
so click and un-click anything else to fix it. 2] Use
windows authentication on the DSN for each db connection in your ODBC
connections. Don’t ask me why but
it fixed it before. In both
cases make sure you stop all Siteprotector related services while your doing
that: IDSserver Issdaemon Realsecure
application server Realsecure
sensor controller Good
luck. I got past that only to land
in another quagmire of XPU errors after SP1.2. Peace, Sakaba -----Original
