Xpid,

 

These two don't have an order because they don't really talk to each other.

To avoid errors it is important to stop them before stopping the DB Server, that's all.

Obviously, when you restart the DB Server has to be first or the App Server won't go up at all.

For each box there are at least 2 services related to RealSecure, for instance for Application Server:

 

RealSecure Site Protector Application Service

RealSecure Site Controller Service

 

If i am to stop services , which is the correct order to do it? Same question goes for starting them.

Typically you should stop the sensors first, Application Server and DB Server at the end.

Assuming i have the following components of RealSecure 7.0 installed in a different machine each one (all boxes run win2k) :

 

Application Server

EventCollect + ISSED

Network Sensor

Server Sensor

 

 

What is the exact order to stop services related to Realsecure in each box?
