Several things you will want to do are:
1) Make a backup of your knownaccounts.bin file and copy it somewhere
before you install. Afterwards, copy it to the
"...\ISS\issSensors\scanner_1\Builtin" directory.
2) If you are planning on uninstalling 6.2.1 before you install 7.0, be
sure to run the XPU uninstaller back to the "0" XPU, but it would be
better to just do an upgrade.
3) If any of your policies contain FlexChecks, you will need to do a few
things before you use them. After migration of the policies:
a - Use the Tools menu to add your FlexChecks to IS7.0 (note
that
the file name cannot contain any invalid XML characters)
b - Open your policies in CPE and do the following (this will
avoid
the invalid policy error):
> Go to the FlexCheck section and check one
FlexCheck, then click save.
> Then uncheck the same and resave.
> Now you can check all the FlexChecks you want
and save.
That's all the tips I can think of off the top of my head.
