********************** SiteProtector has a limitation of not doing DNS lookup "on-the-fly". As you may know, when viewing event details in the console, SiteProtector looks up the DNS information from the database. There are two ways to get that information stored into the database. One, run a discovery scan with Internet Scanner in Site Protector to that IP address. Two, add the host to the Asset tab, right-click, and select update host. SiteProtector will then have the appropriate information in the Database. Therefore, when you view event details, it will show the DNS information. *********************** -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, December 19, 2003 1:41 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [ISSForum] RealSecure report with DNS names Hello, Does anybody now how reports can be created with DNS names instead of IP addresses?
