I have just had a similar problem. I was trying to reinstall XPUs from 3.08 onwards that I already had stored historically on my hard disk but apparently the signatures have been changed and therefore they will not be recognised hence the error message. My problem was solved when I re-downloaded all XPUs from the ISS website and then attempted to install, this worked without a hitch..

(208)" The only difference when I try installing from the web is that before displaying all the available versions, the following message is displayed: "A new version of the X-Press Update installer was found. This update needs to be installed before proceeding. Press OK to install the update. Press Cancel to exit X-Press Update." Naturally, I click OK, getting the list of updates, after a short while. After selecting Update Number 8, the same error as above is displayed. No matter how many times I try, it always shows the same behavior. I also tried installing all updates at once, that is, by selecting "Install all new X-Press Updates found".
