Hello, As i know, it isn't possible to fix the amount of byte used. With the heartbeat, the Daemon transmit to the siteprotector the policy file of the sensor (~800k). Well in lowbandwith situation like ISDN, it could saturate the bandwith. So you can you this parameter to reduce network traffic.
It's easy to implement: edit the file issdkinterface.policy in the application server\config directory, locate the key lowbandwith at the end and replace the 0 by 1. Well let's restart sensor controller service. That's done. Before doing any changes, you'll assume to read article 2291 from knowledgebase. "lowbandwith parameter causing unexpected behavior in the sensor controller and application" Regards, ______________________ Stphane BIHET ADVENS - Ingnieur Scurit. aDvens - 23 Boulevard Descat 59200 Tourcoing - France Tl: +33 3 20 68 41 81 Fax: +33 3 20 70 54 28 www.advens.fr -----Message d'origine----- De : Rafael [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Envoy : mardi 20 avril 2004 05:21 : ISS Objet : [ISSForum] About SiteProtector Hello everybody,my question about SiteProtector is: -Is possible setting the amount communication of heartbeat(ex:1kb)? -How setting the LowBandwidthMode?& Receiving which influence in heartbeat mode?
