Hello. Im having lot of problems making RSPAN and RSPAN on switches Catalyst 6500 series due to switch own limitations (1 Rspan source per switch, 2 rx or both SPAN sessions, 4 tx SPAN session) I have like 9 network sensors on nokiaIP or Proventia and each of one is monitoring one different network, due to some monitor sources are in different switches I tried to do RSPAN, but i having some problems and im thinking about installing network TAPs to monitoring traffic.
I heard about one NetOptics tap http://www.netoptics.com/pdf/datasheet/DSNET96312.pdf. Other solution that i heard is using Radware and Toplayer. So if anyone have any experience with taps or Radware + Toplayer, or have any good idea please mail to me or answer to the list.
