Erin, It is possible to add tuning parameters to the policy. From the policy editor, select the name of one of the groups in the left pane (it doesn't matter which one.) The right pane will show a button labeled "tuning". Click that button and a pop-up for entering tuning parameters should appear. These tuning parameters will be applied to each sensor to which you apply the policy. Sensor specific tuning parameters are applied after policy specific ones, so the former will override the latter in the case of conflicts.

Is there a way to make a PAM setting apply to more than one sensor at a time? Basically all I see is right click in Site Protector on a single sensor (network or appliance) and go to edit properties, hit the last tab and add your parameter. I'd like to adjust say 15+ at a time. Say for instance my gig network flies like it rightfully should, then I want to mod pam.tcp.network.scan.interval But I have 30 sensors that run around these areas, do I have to hit each sensor one at a time to add that pam setting? I don't see it possible in the policy file, but maybe I'm missing something? Thanks, Erin _______________________________________________ ISSForum mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] TO UNSUBSCRIBE OR CHANGE YOUR SUBSCRIPTION, go to https://atla-mm1.iss.net/mailman/listinfo/issforum To contact the ISSForum Moderator, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] The ISSForum mailing list is hosted and managed by Internet Security Systems, 6303 Barfield Road, Atlanta, Georgia, USA 30328. _______________________________________________ ISSForum mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] TO UNSUBSCRIBE OR CHANGE YOUR SUBSCRIPTION, go to https://atla-mm1.iss.net/mailman/listinfo/issforum To contact the ISSForum Moderator, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] The ISSForum mailing list is hosted and managed by Internet Security Systems, 6303 Barfield Road, Atlanta, Georgia, USA 30328.
