One of my colleague encounterred the same problem. Finally, he was able to perfrom the upadte to XPU 22.29.
1. HE rebooted the machine 2. Restarted all services 3. Then he performed the XPU updates one by one. That is, we had to update XPUs 22.28 and 22.29. He updated XPU 22.28 and then updated XPU 22.29 instead of performing the updates at once. You can try the above steps to see if it works. XPU 22.30 has already been released FYI.
