The approach looks interesting, but it's slightly different from what we had in mind during our offline discussion (leveraging log4j configuration). We're not entirely sure yet whether reading the log.file system property would work reliably in all deployment scenarios. Could you elaborate a bit more on how this would behave in different environments (e.g., standalone, YARN, Kubernetes)? That would help us better evaluate the feasibility of this approach.
