Oops, editing my comment.
I forgot for version 5.16.0 we decided to not add support for JDK 11 to build
(only runtime) as it requires a lot of changes like Scala, etc
We should leave things as is and target using JDK 11 to build in 5.17.0 or
maybe a future 5.16.x maintenance release if we can keep scala/leveldb somehow.
