Thank you for the detailed explanation. Yes, it's true that we use selectors,
and more robust consumer metrics could be helpful. The option to use consumer
metrics on a per-address basis sounds promising. Besides the selectors case,
misconfigured redelivery options could also likely cause issues, leading to
messages potentially entering endless retry loops.
Since the attribute will be removed anyway, we will look for an alternative
approach.
