Marcus Christie commented on AIRAVATA-2225:
-------------------------------------------
[~smarru],
Does this feature need application support? Wouldn't the application need to
be resumable to be autoscheduled? Maybe whether to autoschedule should be in
application configuration.
I'm thinking we can
* not show 'Enable Auto Scheduling' to user
* in Orchestrator, check if application supports auto scheduling and if it does
just automatically enable auto scheduling
I'm just trying to figure out where in the system this knowledge should be kept.
> Can we hide 'Enable Auto Scheduling' in create, clone and edit experiment
> unless Gateway request it?

> Auto scheduling check box exists for longtime taking jobs. This was added to
> airavata as a user request from Phasta gateway. Currently we are not using it
> in any other gateway.
> Unless a gateway owner or PI request for this feature I think its safe and
> acceptable to hide it.
> Currently testing is done to a certain exists bt we don't have the correct
> application to test the feature. [~smarru] we should request Cameron to test
