Not sure if I should open a new issue or just put a note here.
When building a deb package for Debian 8 (Jessie) some changes will need to be
made for systemd.
I was able to install the aurora-executor_0.9.0_amd64.deb on:
Distributor ID: Debian
Description: Debian GNU/Linux 8.2 (jessie)
Release: 8.2
Codename: jessie
However the dpkg post install config (/etc/init/thermos.conf) and systemctl
(restart|start|stop) thermos hangs until I set in place a
/etc/systemd/service/thermos.service file
A package for Jessie will need the /etc/init/thermos.conf, /etc/init.d/thermos,
etc stuff removed and the systemd files put into place.
