Yes sorry for the confusion you are correct you don't need to remove the init
script or upstart config files. I just meant if you wanted to remove
unnecessary items for a Debian Jessie package you can remove those files.
I don't think you need to touch the init script file to defer to systemd I
think the systemd/service file just needs to be added.
