[~rdelvalle] glat to hear you're still interested! This would be a great time
for you to step in. The scheduler now has means to read a single executor
configuration via json. I was thinking roughly the following sequence of
patches:
- accept a command line argument for an executor configuration via json,
overriding the thermos executor args currently on the command line
- accept multiple executors in the optional configuration
- allow API users to select an executor from configured executors based on
ExecutorConfig.name
- allow API users to use the command executor
Assuming you agree with the sequence, do you have interest in any particular
step? If so, how soon do you anticipate you will have bandwidth to contribute?
I'd like to get most of this done in the next few weeks, fwiw.
