---------------------------------------------------------------------
https://aurora.apache.org/documentation/latest/vagrant/
describes how to run Aurora in the VirtualBox. There is no mention of Windows,
but it should be working inside the Windows host. Of course, the binaries are
Linux. Apparenly this problem should manifest itself on any host OS running
VirtualBox 5+
was (Author: vvs):
https://aurora.apache.org/documentation/latest/vagrant/
describes how to run Aurora in the VirtualBox on Windows. Probably, to avoid
confusion, the instructions should not be worded specifically for Windows but
for VirtualBox in general.

>
> I follow the instructions on the 'Getting Started' page for Windows. If I use
> VirtualBox 5, I am getting a warning:
> The guest additions on this VM do not match the installed version of
> VirtualBox!
> ...
> Guest Additions Version: 4.3.36
> VirtualBox Version: 5.0
> Apparently, this is because the apache-aurora/dev-environment Vagrant box is
> now used instead of ubuntu/trusty64
