Actually after merging this one I just thought that if we remove the global
shadowing of guava this will be fixed too. I tried to do it but failed
miserably (ended up with a huge 42MB jar). @kennknowles can you do that since
you seem to know this part better. I think is the most important missing part
of the vendor guava ticket, and it will bring a really nice improvement for the
next release.
