I would drop this change in favor of fixing random number generation instead
since this adds complexity and UUID v3 ip addresses/timestamps can easily be
duplicated in containers running in VMs because they typically have private
networks where the actual host IP address is hidden away so across many VMs
everyone can seemingly have the same IP address within the container.
