ASF GitHub Bot logged work on BEAM-14347:
-----------------------------------------

                Author: ASF GitHub Bot
            Created on: 06/May/22 15:16
            Start Date: 06/May/22 15:16
    Worklog Time Spent: 10m
Work Description: damccorm opened a new pull request, #17574:
URL: https://github.com/apache/beam/pull/17574

This is a continuation of the work started in #17429 and extends the
existing registration logic to allow registration of emitters and iters. Since
this was relatively small and there were some significant differences between
each function arity, I decided not to generate this and to add it directly
instead.

   Design doc:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1MLZLUhb-Sn7AJ666yn3TnYgMKE6wiXIBs7cjB_20hMA/edit?usp=sharing

After this, the big remaining chunks of work are:

   1. Handle combiner registration
   2. Perf testing
   3. Updates to the docs/our examples
