Thanks @eolivelli, yes the 15 min timeout is something to think about. I'm not aware that any timeout at the OS/Network level has been changed for that test, but of course I can double check (note that all the servers are running on the same cluster, so the Network/OS configuration should be the same for all of them). Another question regarding the logic of the Bookkeeper client itself is: should the client attempt to re-create the channel always that a client/read/write timeout is detected? Such timeouts are in the configuration of the Bookkeeper client and I wonder if something could be done in the presence of such events to re-resolve the Bookie IP. ---------------------------------------------------------------- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
