??Does Calcite currently match that behavior???

I don't think so, Calcite match the first three. 

for the last, Calcite will expand "GROUP BY x" to "GROUP BY 3", and then expand 
"GROUP BY 3"  in the Group By ordinal way. It's the "double expand" which I 
mentioned before.
