Let's carry this conversation in the JIRA issue.
The iq files have some commands that start with !, we would have to add some
new commands to specify the optimization passes to use. I suspect that the
simplest would be to have the new optimization passes be prepended to the
transformations that are already done; if more control is needed, we can design
it.
