Babak Vahdat commented on CAMEL-6515:
-------------------------------------

Hi Raul

First of all congratulation for the PMC membership :-)

Would you please document this dependency upgrade into the [2.12 release
notes|https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/CAMEL/Camel+2.12.0+Release#Camel2.12.0Release-DependencyUpgrades]?

I also wonder if there was any *urgent* necessity to upgrade the driver, given
that known nasty NPE of it. Would it not be better to wait for the next patch
release until this gets fixed properly? Or at least maybe it would make sense
to put a {{TODO}} marker to that {{catch}} block so that we don't forget to
remove that block as soon as this "bug" is fixed.
