Raul Kripalani commented on CAMEL-6515:
---------------------------------------
[~bvahdat] – many thanks ;-)
2.12 release notes updated.
We were 2 minor versions behind and as a result Camel wasn't able to leverage
security features introduced in newer versions of MongoDB which are vital in
enterprise environments.
The NPE from the driver is not offensive, it simply isn't a nice exception for
an API to throw. An InterruptedException or similar would be less misleading
(https://jira.mongodb.org/browse/JAVA-605), but I'm not sure it has much
priority on their side as the ticket is 10 months old now. Holding off on our
side wouldn't have benefitted our users.
Regards,
Raúl.
