Nate M commented on CAMEL-8258:
-------------------------------
New to Camel, and willing to take this up. Took a peek at the code. Just want
to clarify the requirements here:
Currently, it appears that camel-twitter supports streaming tweets, but not
direct messages and other events. Should there be an option to listen for both
streaming on the user events (direct messages, favorites, follows, etc.) and
listening on status (tweets), as well as an option to just listen on status
(tweets)? Or just the former?
On the same topic, the description mentions the Camel URI "twitter/filter".
Might be a silly question, but should this change apply to only the
FilterConsumer? TwitterStream filtering seems to apply just to public tweets,
and not direct messages.
