Aashna Jena commented on CAMEL-14581:
-------------------------------------
The sub menu list was too long for the documentation menu, that's why I am
trying to avoid it. The page is not too long, it only has the three headings
shown above. Also, this way things become a bit more hierarchical, hence easier
to read. Maybe I can try to keep this hierarchy by adding sub-sub-menus which
open to the right of each option on the sub-menu list. Let's see what
[~zregvart] has to say about this!

> The current Apache Camel website can use some help with the usability. I've
> identified the following areas that could improve:
> * simpler top level navigation: currently we have Blog, Projects,
> Documentation, Community, Download, About; some of these also have sub-menu
> items. I think we could benefit from a simpler organization and perhaps get
> rid of sub-menus and serve pages with content regarding each section (e.g.
> documentation page could have pointers to different kinds of documentation we
> currently have on the sub-menu)
> * accessibility (readability/contrast/...): we should run audits and make
> sure that the website is accessible
> * rework menus on low resolution: make sure that the menus are large enough
> and readable on lower resolution
