Thanks @LuciferYang for the contribution. The serialization issue addressed here has been fixed by #3825 in commit adadbd924823416147680fae5131390a8f3833fd. The merged implementation serializes the peer's own bitmap via getMapIdBitMapIfPresent, preserving lazy bitmap allocation, and includes regression coverage for both unpacked and packed paths.
