Sanjay Tripathi commented on CLOUDSTACK-2448:
---------------------------------------------
Currently i am verifying the supported guest OS for different versions of
XenServers by following the below mentioned release docs:
For XS 6.2.0:
http://support.citrix.com/servlet/KbServlet/download/34971-102-704221/guest.pdf
For XS 6.1.0:
https://support.citrix.com/servlet/KbServlet/download/32304-102-691297/guest_support_6.1.0.pdf
For XS 6.0.2:
https://support.citrix.com/servlet/KbServlet/download/30196-102-673808/guest_support_6.0.2.pdf
For XS 6.0.0:
http://support.citrix.com/servlet/KbServlet/download/28749-102-664875/XenServer-6.0.0-guest.pdf
For XS 5.6SP2:
http://support.citrix.com/servlet/KbServlet/download/27189-102-661206/guest.pdf
For XS 5.6FP1:
http://support.citrix.com/servlet/KbServlet/download/25591-102-666370/
For XCP 1.0.0 and for XCP 1.6.0, I haven't found any document which describes
about the list of supported guest OS; there is a document which relates the XCP
and Xen versions, so i'll follow that to verify the supported OS list in XCP.

> From Ryan Lei's comments in CLOUDSTACK-1907:
> I'm glad to see this fixed, but there are some other changes in the supported
> guest os type as of XCP 1.6 (at least in my XCP 1.6.10).
> For example, Windows 8 (32-bit/64-bit), Ubuntu 10.10, 12.04 , Solaris 10 (all
> experimental).
> Maybe it's best to completely go through the list in XCP 1.6.x, instead of
> copying the current list and just fix the ones for System VMs.
>
> I also happened to see this line of mistake in _xenServer610GuestOsMap :p
> 729 _xenServer610GuestOsMap.put("Windows 8 (64-bit)", "Windows 7 (64-bit)
> (experimental)");
