Anirban Chakraborty commented on CLOUDSTACK-5777:
-------------------------------------------------
If I understand correctly, the use case is as follows:
1. Have two xen hosts in the pool
2. Reboot one of them
3. Observe if everything is fine.
I have tried rebooting master and observing if the vms (user and system) are
migrating to the other host. The reboot was attempted on two different cases:
a. host was the master
b. host slave
In both the cases, vms got migrated properly and there was no issue of host not
being abled to join the pool.
I even attempted a host reboot of host 1 and then followed by a reboot of host
2, so that vm migration can happen back to back and vms come back to the
original host where they were launched at the start of the day.
Another variation I tried, where I put the host (master) on maintenance mode
and then rebooted it. The behavior is same. I didn't see any issue, neither SR
in disconnected state nor xen host having trouble joining pool and vm migration
issue.
I am using the CS 4.3 build (nightly build made here yesterday(2/10/14)).
