   @priyankparihar Agree with you, however, in my case I did not ask for the 
disk to be resized and the code still attempted to do that and failed (as 
explained the global setting in my case was `false`). So, I guess the final 
solution would attempt to call the resize operation if at all resizing of disks 
was requested and we'll keep the same behavior (i.e. to throw exception when 
disks are not resizable). I would ask if the primary author comes up with a PR 
/cc @sureshanaparti @sateesh-chodapuneedi
