Ouch; let's not (re)open that can of worms.
However, it seems that many things from {{o.a.c.geometry.io.core.utils}} could
find a home in ["Commons Text"|http://commons.apache.org/proper/commons-text/].
It would make sense that the "io" module implements its parsing of text-based
geometry formats using primitives defined in [Text].
