so, this cleanup patch hopefully reverts everything back to the original commit
of Gilles (and includes the changes of course).
Actually you were right, eclipse adds an additional whitespace and thats the
reason checkstyle complained.
Also eclipse did not reformat automatically, but I usually prefer to force a
reformat, which works pretty well when the formatter does exactly what you want
;-).
But I should have asked in advance how it is handled in commons-math, sadly the
developer guide is not very clear about that topic.
