Thank you for your interest in our project.
As you have already developed this contribution outside of Apache and wants to
contribute it, there are some legal steps to follow. Could you have a look at
the Software Grants section here [http://www.apache.org/licenses/#grants]? You
could retrieve the text of the Software Grant document from this page, sign it
and send it to [email protected], with a copy to [email protected].
Note that such a document should *not* be sent to the public lists, as it will
contain your signature (and our public lists at commons strip out attachments).
Also note that we don't use @author tags in this project, preferring to credit
authors in the pom.xml file, which automatically adds all contributors in a
dedicated web page at the project site.
