All the classes mentioned in this ticket have been either reworked or removed
in the redesign towards version 2.0.
In the classes I reworked for 2.0 I tried to keep an eye on this problem, but
there may be still candidates I have missed. And there are still other classes
that have not been touched during this refactoring.
So how do we proceed with this ticket? Should it be closed or do you want to do
another review of the code base (which would be highly appreciated)?
